Sodium deoxycholate or deoxycholic acid is a synthetic form of the substance naturally made in the body to absorb fat. It works by destroying fat cell membranes in the target area, along with lipids and cholesterol. It forms mixed micelles in the intestine and help in fat digestion and absorption through the intestinal wall.

Phosphatidylcholine on the other hand, is found in the cells as key component to its structure and works to help in breaking down fat. It is composed of phospholipids attached to a choline particle. It is often used in injectables to treat non-cancerous fatty tumors (lipomas), excess fat around the eyelids and yellowish cholesterol deposits just under the surface of the skin (xanthelasmas). DURATION OF EFFECT

After treatment, there will be swelling, burning or a stinging sensation in about 2 days to a week. To maintain the effect, a good diet and exercise program must be practiced.

BEFORE & AFTER

PRECAUTIONS

1. Patients with untreated infection or uncontrolled inflammation should not start treatment.
2. PPC-C Solution is not a replacement for liposuction or breast reduction, but it is an effective therapy to reduce smaller areas with fat in the face and body.
3. Patients who have large volumes of fat (BMI 30 or more) or have unrealistic expectations are not recommended for PPC-C Fat Dissolving treatment.
4. Patients underlying medical history (e.g., blood-clotting problems, diabetes, liver or kidney diseases) must inform the doctor of their condition before the treatment.
5. Inform the doctor if you have any allergy to the product’s ingredients to avoid dangerous side effects.

AFTERCARE GUIDE

1. After the procedure, swelling and redness may occur (but will eventually fade away), thus heparin ointment or ice packs placed over the treatment area after the procedure is recommended.
2. Burning sensation and hyperpigmentation may occur but will fade away within 3 months. You can use ice packs and topical ointments to calm the skin down for a while.
3. Avoid extreme sports and activities in the first 2 weeks after treatment. 
4. Avoid sunbathing, exposing the treatment area to extreme cold, and heat (e.g., sauna or hot tub) for 2 weeks after treatment.
5. Reduce alcohol consumption, at least for a few weeks after the procedure, as it may affect the treatment results.

PACKAGING AND SPECIFICATIONS

Premium PPC-C Fat Dissolving Solution consists of 5 x 10mL vials in one package.

Preparation: 10mL of PPC-C Solution is mixed with 10mL of sterile NaCl (1:1) totaling 20mL of the reconstituted solution ready for injection.

Recommended dosage: Body – 0.4 to 0.6mL per point. Face (smaller surface area) – 0.2 to 0.5mL per point. A maximum of 50mL (5 vials) of Premium PPC-C per treatment session is allowed.

Treatment interval: At least 1 week however it is highly recommended that each treatment therapy should have a 4-week interval.

Injection depth: The injection depth may vary depending on the situation; For the sagging skin or altering the skin’s surface texture, 6~8mm in the immediate subdermal fat layer is recommended. The first lipolysis treatment will require 10~13mm in the subcutaneous layer and the second treatment will require 6~8mm with an injection spacing of 1.0cm.

Syringe & needle size: Tuberculin syringe with a fine needle (30G or 32G with 6-13mm dimensions)
