PRODUCT COMPOSITION

Each Olidia injectable contains 365mg of Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) in its powder form. 

PLLA microparticle are carefully calibrated with diameter ranging from 40 to 63 µm. It stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen, then the newly generated collagen fills in the volume loss of the skin deep within the dermal and subcutaneous layer. It is one of the most durable biomaterials that is also used in dissolvable stitches. This indicates the strength of PLLA as a powerful anti-aging treatment, maintaining the skin’s barrier without causing harmful side effects as it naturally degrades from the body by breaking down into water and carbon dioxide as a by-product, excreting through respiration or bodily fluids (sweat and urine).

DURATION OF EFFECT

Olidia Collagen Injectable can produce effective results for more than 2 years, maintaining a youthful and natural look. Over 80% of the effect is maintained for 25 months. After 3-4 initial injections, no need for additional injections for 2-3 years.

APPLICATION SITE

HOW TO USE 

1. Make sure that the product is not damaged and check the powder if it is not contaminated.
2. Cleanse the rubber stopper with an alcohol pad before diluting the powder.
3. Dilute the powder appropriately, preferably with 5ml to 7mL of sterile water for injection or normal saline withdrawn with an 18G needle connected to a 5mL or 10mL syringe.
4. Leave the reconstituted solution in the vial for a maximum of 2 hours to be diluted thoroughly. The solution must look white and translucent after reconstitution.
5. Gently shake the vial for better suspension. Once diluted thoroughly, the solution must be immediately used or within 72 hours.
6. 1-2mL of lidocaine can also be added to the solution to minimize pain upon injection.
7. Withdraw 1-3mL of the reconstituted Olidia solution with an 18G needle.
8. The target area can be injected with a 21G puncture needle first as a guide into the subcutaneous or under the muscle layer and then a 23G and 50mm blunt cannula (filler or fat graft cannula) can be used later to administer Olidia solution.
9. To obtain optimal results, the linear threading technique is used as an injection process, which is renowned for its precision and efficiency.

AFTERCARE GUIDE TIPS

1. An ice pack is usually used to cool down the treated area. This helps in reducing the swelling and redness after the procedure.
2. Patients must avoid drinking alcohol and smoking for at least 2 to 3 days to achieve the optimal results and to prevent disruption of the collagen stimulation after the treatment.
3. Post treatment massage on the treated area must be done 3 times a day for 3 days to help distribute evenly the filler. 
4. Do not expose your skin to extreme temperatures such as direct sunlight that may produce harmful UV rays.
